<p>Well, done it, took the plunge and signed up for the Manchester 10K run!!&nbsp;&nbsp; The aim is to raise &pound;500 for Diabetes UK, to help fund research that will hopefully one day lead to a cure.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <p>Type 1 Diabetes is a cruel condition that leads to complications such as kidney failure, blindness, lower limb amputation and many more, and affects millions of people in the UK.&nbsp; On a personal level, two of&nbsp;my children Adam (17), and Megan (11) have the condition, and therefore this is a cause extremely close to&nbsp;my heart!!&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Adam was diagnosed when he was 5years old and Megan when she was 3.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;I don't expect to set any new world records, just to finish it on the same day as&nbsp;I start it would be good!!</p> <p>Thank you for taking the time to read this, and thank you for your donation.&nbsp; Liam</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
