<p class="MsoNormal">This is my first charity run…. <span> </span>I will (hopefully!) be running a mere 13 miles.<span> </span>I am doing this to raise money for a very worthwhile cause the Foundation of Prader-Willi Research UK.<span> </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Prader-Willi Syndrome (PWS) is a rare genetic condition that is devastating for both the sufferer and their families.<span> </span><span> </span>This condition has many symptoms that increase in severity with age.<span> </span>Constant hunger is a major symptom. <span> </span>Not hunger like we know it, a starvation that will lead sufferers to eat even the inedible, in an effort to supress the feeling of hunger.<span> </span>Sadly, nothing will ever<span> </span>supress this overwhelming hunger. <span> </span>If this hunger is not controlled to people with PWS can <span> </span>literally eat themselves to death.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">I recently met a little girl, just 2 years old.<span> </span>Her name is Eleanor Shaw.<span> </span>She made me feel very humble and grateful to be healthy.<span> </span>She suffers from PWS, she is unable to walk as her muscles are too weak, she regularly sees an army of specialists and has injections to endure every day.<span> </span>This puts my blistered feet into perspective! (Although they did really hurt!)</p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: center;">To find a cure for Eleanor</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: center;">And humongous blisters I’d endure</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: center;">To find the ever elusive cure</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: center;"> </p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: center;"> </p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: center;">I know times are hard and we are not so flush</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: center;">So I won’t beat around the bush..but I want your dosh!</p>
