Story

Thank you very much for visiting my Just Giving page...

Over the last few months we have been training in preperation for this gruelling World Record attempt of 30 hours of Touch rugby.

It all started with a few sessions to test the fitness levels of the hopeful participants, with bleep tests, road running, circuits, sprints and continuous touch. We then progressed the session to longer session which related more to the actual event, inclding a 10 hour overnight session in the mud and rain which really put in to perspective the size of the task. That one night tested us all physically and mentally.

Plenty sacrifices have been made in the persuit of this achievement and the realisation that no one person wants to let their side down. One player not pulling their weight results in another player doing twice as much work.

Luckily we have a smashing team dynamic and a drive to push ourselves to completion of this World Record for such a wonderful cause.

Please donate for all that we are putting ourselves through and for this great cause.
