My best mate Lee Thrush decided to sign up to Tough Mudder as a way of raising money for Macmillan Cancer, after a tough time in his family who have been affected like many others by such a life changing disease.

He decided to see who else would join him on this 10/12 mile struggle through military made obstacles. At first I was apprehensive, thinking it sounded like too much of a struggle. It did not take long to realise taking part in this will not be a fraction of the struggle that millions of family's are going through when a loved one is diagnosed with cancer. 

I have seen first hand people in my family, and in particular a family close to me in the last year go through this horrific ordeal. And nothing can prepare you for the grief. I would not wish this on my worst enemy.
