I met Colleen when she was about 6; Colleen one of my best friend's sister when she developed a brain tumour and underwent numerous treatments and operations; she remained happy and smiling and was always thinking of others.

Colleen started organising little coffee mornings to raise money to buy toys for the hospital where she was being treated and this is how tenderheart was born.  The first tumour was beaten then she got another one but she still remained positive and happy always thinking about how she could help others even at that young age.  Colleen carried on having  fundraisers to raise money for sick childrena and tehir families until she was to unwell to do so.

When Colleen died at the age of 12 her family and friends continued fundraising for her Tenderheart charity and, I have been involved with the charity ever since helping with fundraisers and events.

 The holiday homes bring a welcome relief too many families who have sick children; it is only fundraisers and the generosity of people like yourselves that keep this little charity going, there are no admin fees what so ever, so all your donations will be spent on the children.
