GCHC Sponsored Walk 10K · 2 September 2017 ·

We help the babies, children and young people treated at Scotland's largest children's hospital, the Royal Hospital for Children, Glasgow. We fund medical equipment, research, play programmes and family support services to ensure that our young patients receive the best possible care and experience.

Story

Thank you for visiting the team Darius justgiving page.

This is the second year in a row that our family and friends will take part in this event. We had such a great time as a team last year and raised such a fantastic amount of money for the charity that we want to do it all over again.
Of course as always we do all this in memory of our darling little boy Darius who passed away from suspected mitochondrial disease on the 20th of March 2016 just two weeks after his 2nd birthday.

This year we are also taking part as a way of thanking the hospital for taking such good care of our little Viviana who was born 9 weeks early and had to receive care in the NICU and special care unit for 5 weeks.
The care and support our children have received from the hospital and charity is second to none and we want to show our tremendous appreciation.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your continued support and for helping us keep Darius' precious memory alive.
