I've always wanted to run a marathon for the achievement of saying I've done it.  But then Fee decided it would be a good idea to do it before we were 30...and in New York... so here we are!!  And I'm thinking it would be great for people to benefit for the madness we're about to put ourselves through!  I'm working in a neuro ward at the moment and treat people with MND.  It's such a sad disease which has a huge impact on the sufferers and their families and friends.  If I could raise some money to help it would make all the training and potentially the pain of the actual event worthwhile!

 

It's been recommended that we run no further than 20 miles in training, and I've managed the 20 miles!!  I am a bit worried about where the extra 6 miles is going to come from though...potentially another hours worth of running...aaarrggghhh!
