Story

Since I'm never going to run a marathon or grow a moustache as per some of my esteemed friends' charity efforts, I'm putting what talents I do have to good use.

"Woolly Bus" is a fundraising event for local Sussex hospice the Martlets. Local knitters are making 4000 patchwork squares, with the aim of covering an entire B&H double-decker bus by August when it'll parade around the city.

The money raised from donations goes to the Martlets. The knitted squares will get taken apart, and re-made into blankets for AIDS orphans as part of the Knit A Square project. Double win.

I'm hoping to make 25 squares by August, and raise at least £100.

What's more, for a tenner I'll take design requests (within reason and capability!)

Every little helps, so please dig deep, even if it's only a quid or two.

Cheers!
