Story
A great friend, Lisa Jones, was diagnosed with Breast Cancer in October 2013 at the tender age of 47. There is no history of Breast Cancer in Lisa’s family so it came as a great shock to her, her family,
and her friends.
Lisa is approaching the end of her chemo which started just after Christmas 2013. The chemo has been successful and the doctors are very pleased with the results so far. However, the chemo is just one stage in her treatment; Lisa is facing surgery in a few weeks’ time alongside 6 weeks of daily radiotherapy. Lisa is fighting this dreadful disease with great courage and positivity – she is a great
inspiration to all who know her.
A truly courageous woman, Lisa wants to walk the 10 miles Pink Ribbon Walk for Cancer Care at Blenheim Palace on 10th May
and there are 12 of us who are walking with her. In an attempt to show support for Lisa, and the wonderful people who have been
caring for her, I am asking for your support in sponsoring me on this walk with Lisa, and get her through this terrible disease.
Our team is called WalkieTalkies2014 (as we are going to do a lot of walking & talking !!)
Lisa is amazing and we can’t believe she is planning on participating in this walk. So far we have raised over £3000 which we are delighted by, thank you sooooo much.

Many thanks for your support.
