Story

Hello friends, family, colleagues and anyone that knows us!

Thank you for visiting our fundraising page where we're looking to raise as much as we can for 2 very important charities - Cancer Research UK and Great Ormond St Hospital.

The way we plan to do this is by cycling 197 kilometres over 5 Pyrenean mountains in France! So PLEASE dig deep and sponsor us - I think we will deserve it!!

We have specifically chosen 2 charities that are personal to the three of us in an attempt to justify the pain of the gruelling training we are doing for this event! Those that know us well will know that all three of our families have been affected by Cancer (as have many of the people who will be hopefully sponsoring us), so we think that it's a really great charity to get behind. Our second charity, Great Ormond Street, do some amazing work with seriously ill children and we hope that your donations enable them to continue and even improve the great care and treatment they provide.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor us: Cancer Research UK and Great Ormond Street Hospital will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you!

No doubt you will hear us harping on about the hardships of the event for the next five months, but we believe these two great charities are well worth our efforts. We hope that you do too and support us generously!

Thank you!
