As some of my friends will know "back in the day" I was taking part in some running events and played basketball for a long time (yes, that's me in the picture :). However, as the years went by I have prioritised anything else but an active lifestyle. It's about time to change it! Not only I want to prove myself that it is never too late to restart running and being active, but also want to raise awareness and some funds for one of the Quilter Foundation's major initiatives, the Young Carers campaign.

Carers Trust is the UK's largest charity which is supporting unpaid, young carers. The main aim of this charity is to provide support to young adult carers who face barriers to their wellbeing, education or employment prospects.

I could not imagine myself growing up and becoming the woman I am without the help and support of my family and friends. We all need support no matter who we are. Therefore, this is an amazing cause to help young people in our communities who might not have the same support in life and who are going that extra mile every single day for someone they love.
