Hey Guys,

In April 2012, me and two friends, Emer Mcdaid and Arthur Jones will be hitchhiking the entire 1200-mile journey from Warwick Uni to Marrakech, Morocco. Although undoubtably an enjoyable experience, I am sure will also be pretty huge challenge for us (for those of you who have seen my uni bedroom, you'll know organisation and particularly my clothing management is not my forte, so back packing for two weeks... well, you can imagine) and which will hopefully raise lots for Link Community Development.

Obviously, no money will be spent on transportation whatsoever. At all. And to add to the challenge, our group's setting ourselves the additional challenge of attempting to make it all the way to Morocco without spending any money on anything (accom, food, essentials, etc.). Although this additional aim may turn out to be unrealistic, we are going to give it a good shot :)

We each need to raise at least £375 through personal donations, so I'd be so grateful for whatever sponsorship people can manage. £5 or £10 would be absolutely brilliant,but even the smallest donations count and i'd absolutely love to be able to say that we'd really given as much as possible.

Hundreds of uni students across the country take part in the charity hitchhike every year (it's the largest of its kind in the UK) and it would obviously be amazing if we could help make this year the most successful fundraising-wise ever.
