Every day in the UK, another 240 people wake up to the catastrophic impact of a stroke. The Stroke Association is the only charity in the UK providing lifelong support for all stroke survivors and their families.

Story

I will be taking part in the Manchester Great Run on May 26th, this will involve running/jogging/crawling/crying 10km in hopefully under 1 hour 25 minutes.

This association raises money in order to provide more much needed support for people affected by stroke across the UK. For every £1 donated 79p will go directly into their work to help beat strokes. For more information on where your money will be spent please see:http://www.stroke.org.uk/research/who-and-what-we-fund

After having a stroke at the age of 19, this association is close to my heart for more than one reason, I hope you can help me to reach my target by donating through this page or texting 'STRO63 £1' to 70070 to give £1.

Thank you for reading.
