Story
We did it!
Here is a photo of Sue (Sarah's Mum) and I completing this year's 10K Cancerkin Hyde Park Walk on Sunday 17th June. It was particularly hard for me this year as I had only returned from Israel at 2.00am that morning, but the weather was kind to us and as well as having great fun I have mangaged to raise just over £2000 for a great cause. A huge thank you to those of you who have already sponsored me. To those of you who have not yet had a chance there is still time, I would like to try and reach the £3000 I raised last year and with your help I can do it, it is such a worthy cause. Your sponsorship would be so appreciated and it would help so many people.
Cancerkin is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year. It is the Royal Free Hospitals' breast cancer support centre and they do wonderful work in helping and supporting cancer patients and their families in all sorts of ways. Having had breast cancer myself, I know just how important this kind of support is. Have a look at their website www.cancerkin.org.uk
