Thank you for visiting my Just Giving page.  I feel very privileged to tell you that I’m returning to Africa for a wheelchair distribution with Wheels for the World from 10–20 April working in Mukono, Uganda reprising my role asTeam Administrator supporting six fellow volunteers from the UK. 

 

This trip to Uganda will distribute and fit wheelchairs - recycled from the NHS and refurbished by inmates in prison on the Isle of Wight - to people with disabilities in the Mukono area.  People receiving a wheelchair find their lives transformed making access to food and attendance at school easier, leading to self-support and dignity.
