In March 2011 my husband Stuart was diagnosed with terminal cancer.  Our lives were completely shattered and our family devastated.

We took the decision to contact Maggies in Glasgow and the support they offered us was fabulous.  They made us feel so welcome and at ease and allowed us to talk about the future and what lay ahead for us as a family.

We would like to repay some of the support we got from Maggies by providing some support for them.  On Sunday 18th September I intend to walk from Bishopbriggs to the Falkirk Wheel along with friends and family (approx 17 miles)
