When stroke strikes, part of your brain shuts down. And so does a part of you. Life changes instantly and recovery is tough. But the brain can adapt. Our specialist support, research and campaigning are only possible with the courage and determination of the stroke community.

Story

Most of you now know that I have done events in the past that support The Stroke Association - and its a great cause....

Those of you who know that Lindsay has been in hospital for the best part of a year now, all supported by The Stroke Association and is due to be moved once again from Woking to a specialist Rehab unit in Oxford shortly.  Its a fantastic cause and something that directly affects Lindsay and her family.  This is one of the only ways I know how to help support Lindsay along with showing my face to see her on the odd occassion.

For those of you who don't know who I am - I am Cara's boyfriend and I have tried to be around for Lindsay, Cara and family for the past year...albeit a tough year!

This might not seem like a big challenge for me, however a server lack of training might just add to the challenge and task to hand.

Thanks for your support last year, it really got me through the Triathlon and hopefully I can raise a small amount to help this amazing charity.
