Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

You may know that just over a year ago I took up the challenge of running again after about 15 years of nothing! Last year's challenge was a 5k run and I loved every minute of it. This year I am looking bigger - much bigger and I am tackling the Great North Run. Now you must realise that this is a HUGE challenge for me and knowing that I am raising money for the Cleveland Search and Rescue team will help to spur me on immensely.

The Cleveland Search and Rescue Team work tirelessly on the beautiful Cleveland Hills and North Yorkshire Moors helping to keep us all safe. My Dad has been a member of the team for over 40 years and so it has always been a part of my life. Please help me to support them by supporting me. Thanks.

Here are just a few of the things that the team are trying to raise money for at the moment... http://www.clevelandmrt.org.uk/wish-list.php or just look at their page http://www.clevelandmrt.org.uk to see some of the fantastic work they do - they attended 49 incidents last year that's almost one a week and they are all attended solely by volunteers.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
