After a lifetime of contributing to our country I think elderly people deserve all the help and support they can get, which is why I think Age UK is a great cause.

Over 1 million people aged 65 or over in the UK say they always or often feel lonely. Too many of them are living a desperately lonely and empty existence week in week out. No one wants to be lonely every day, and for each individual the impact is dramatic.  Age UK’s national and local services mean that thousands of lonely older people can get vital companionship and a sense of belonging that help make life worth living again.

If I could have a cup of tea with every one of them individually I would but instead Sam and I will be treking through the Cotswolds to raise money for Age UK so that they can go on supporting our elderly heros.

On Saturday 22nd September we'll be joining the rest of the team at CPH Consulting to walk 25 miles through the Cotswolds as part of our charity year.
