My story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
We are all very grateful to the wonderful caring team at Dr Kershaw's hospice, who made Lindsey's last few weeks very special. They not only cared for her medicaly but also offered her emotional support while dealing with the later stages of her illness. Unlike being in a hospital, the nurses in the hospice tried to ensure Lindsey did not feel like she was being treated like an ill person and tried to make her life as normal as possible - a gin and tonic with a slice and ice every night! We have so much to thank the hospice for. They are an amazing team who give great comfort and support to their patients and families when it is most needed. Please donate as little or as much as you can as from personal experience, I can assure you your money is going to a very worthy cause.

Dr Kershaw's Hospice provides specialist palliative care for adults with life-threatening illnesses in a peaceful and homely environment with accommodation for 12 inpatients and 15 day places. Dr Kershaw's serves a population of 230,000 people from Oldham and its surrounding districts.
