Hello! Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

From 26 June-28 June I will be cycling approximately 112 miles coast to coast from Newcastle to Maryport. This year I celebrated reaching half a century, so this marks the first of what I hope will be many challenges, raising money for the National Children’s Orchestra.

Having already raised an incredible amount, I have now increased my target to £1500. I am planning on using the money for vehicle branding - from the wrapping of the NCO logo on our lorry to an NCO branded sign on our hire car. The more people that know about us the better, and spotting us on the road is sure to make a big impact.

Having worked for NCO for 7 years and been a parent of a child in NCO, I know first-hand what an amazing opportunity the experience is to the musical and social development of young people, and the huge benefits it can have.

I hope to be in touch at the end of June to let you know I’ve completed the ride, preferably still in one piece (if a little sore!).
