We fund biomedical research into ME to create a strategy for cure/treatment

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I've had M.E. for 6 years and am often severely ill and bedbound. Sometimes I'm able to go out, on my mobility scooter or with someone pushing my wheelchair.

My husband, Danny, will be pushing me round Milton Country Park near Cambridge on May 16th 2015.

What for a healthy person would be a fun afternoon out, for me requires careful planning. To do the walk/wheelchair push, I'll have to rest for a few days beforehand, doing as little as possible to save my energy. Once there, I'll enjoy it but will find all the sights and sounds overwhelming after a short time and will have to return home and go to bed, exhausted. I'll probably be in bed for the whole of the following day, too.

I and my fellow M.E. sufferers  desperately need research into M.E. and that's why I'm fundraising for Invest In ME.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

*Please note I've now changed the date to Sunday May17th and Danny will be pushing me at Thetford Forest! This is because we're taking my mum to view a puppy near Thetford that day, so rather than go out 2 days in a row, which would be exhausting, we're doing the walk on the same day while we're out.
