Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

We are a group of friends/family who are used to supporting the men in our lives whilst they raise lots of money for another great charity, 'Little Hiccups'. Whilst we were standing on the sidelines of their most recent triumph, the Leeds Half Marathon in May this year, we were inspired to take on a challenge ourselves. None of us are runners, so of course we chose the Leeds 10K!

Anyone who knows me, will know I'm not a natural runner and at first I struggled to run even a minute! So as you can imagine this will be a massive challenge for me and the other Speedy Turtles!

We would be extremely grateful for any donation, its for a great cause, the Yorkshire Brain Research Centre who are "working for better diagnosis, better treatment and better outcomes for patients with brain conditions" here in Leeds.

Thanks so much,

The Speedy Turtles!
