20 years ago my Dad went into the Marie Curie respite centre in Woolton to give my Mum a much needed break from caring for him as his health deteriorated due to a cancerous brain tumour.

My Dad passed away whilst staying at the centre, I think he decided that this was the place he wanted to go as it was such a lovely place.

I have never forgotten the care that the wonderful staff gave to my Dad in his final days and do what I can to raise money for this worthy cause whenever I can.
