LGL's half marathon challenge for Children's Brain Tumour Research Centre

2017 Ikano Robin Hood Half Marathon · 24 September 2017 ·
The challenge of running the Robin Hood half marathon on September 24th is part of Life Cycle 7 at the University of Nottingham which is raising funds to create a brighter future for children with brain tumours.
Brain tumours are the biggest cancer killer in children, and two-thirds of those who survive are left with life-long disabilities. Your help means our researchers can work tirelessly to improve diagnosis, treatment and awareness - giving hope to thousands of children across the world as well as here in Nottingham.
I am the Image and Photographic Manager at the University of Nottingham and have photographed many children; parents and staff at the Children's Brain Tumour Research Centre in Nottingham over the years. I have always been overwhelmed at the love; passion and commitment that goes into looking after these wonderful children. And I couldn't think of a better cause to run my first race since school - yikes its not going to be pretty !!
