Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I am doing the Kingston Run, an 8.2 mile organised run in Kingston on 11th October 2009. I have chosen to do this for Born Too Soon based at Kingston Hospital.
Those of you who know me know how close this charity is to me as if it were not for the nurses at Kingston neither of my children would be here today. Ben was born at 29 weeks weighing 3.7lbs and Aimee at 31 weeks weighing 4.2lbs. Both spent 8 weeks in hospital but thanks to the staff are now very healthy 5 and 2 year olds.
This charity provides vital support both whilst in hospital and afterwards and helps through those days where all looks bleak. They do not have the advantages other big charities have and do not for example get London Marathon places, they are therefore constantly trying to raise money. I will never be able to thank them enough but hope to raise enough money to help.
As running is not my speciality I am trying very hard to be able to run the whole 8.2 miles and not give in to the temptation to walk! The more money I raise the more determined I will be so please, please dig as deep as you can!
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
So please dig deep and donate now.
Thank you.
