Lisa's finding a cure for psp

fiding a cure ยท 28 February 2015
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.darren my hubbi is just 38years old the youngest to be diagnosed with psp in the uk , a non treatable, non curable terminal disease of the brain, parkinsons plus, a more aggressive and rapidly progressing disease, affecting people in their 60,s the psp association work hard to raise funds for reseach and one day a cure, they have been a fantastic support when dealing with a rare terminal illness and have very little backing to support a national awarness campaign they are the only charity out there supporting families like us, in order to achieve this i/we need to raise as much as possible by just giving and organised charity events darren will be doing a sponsored zip wire himself, and we are doing a midnight walk at the follies hawkstone park, friends are doing the shrewsbury half marathon as well, plus lots more, please dig deep and support the psp association as they have us, there is very little support out there and if it wasnt for them we would be very isolated whist coming to tearms with psp progressive supranuclear pulsy ! Its not a game ๐ ๐ ๐ and its not as uncommon as you think, high profile people have had psp, dudley moore, nigel dempster and jeoff goulag (rod stuarts lead gutarist) it just lacks national awarness x we need to raise the profile ๐ together ๐ please add all funds raised and contributions to this page and help make a difference, many thanks lisa and darren ives ๐๐๐
