My story
Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
On the 28 January we will be sleeping outside under the stars in the car park at mhs homes in a cardboard box! The event has been planned to raise awareness of the plight of homeless people. The money we raise will be divided equally between homeless charity ‘Emmaus Medway’ and the mhs homes staff chosen charity for 2012 the ‘Alzheimer’s Society’.
We are representing Kent Social Care Professionals for this event.

Emmaus Communities provides a lasting solution to homelessness by offering formerly homeless people a home, work and the chance to regain self-respect in a supportive environment. Residents work full time on the Community business, renovating and re-selling donated furniture.
