Lizi said: 'let's do the Grand Union Challenge, there are options of 25km, 50km and 100km'. We took the Goldilocks option, not too long and not too short, or so we thought!  After a few training sessions we have realised just how far 50km (31 miles!) is but we are committed to the the training, and excited about the challenge.

Most of all we are committed to supporting the NSPCC to continue to fight for the childhood that every child deserves; one free from abuse, neglect, fear and sadness.

The world record for the 50K walk is 3 hours 34 mins, I think the record is safe for now as we expect to be walking for around 10 hours.
