Dear friends

Thank you for visiting my fund raising page.  On 17th May, I will be doing a 10 mile walk to raise money for Breast Cancer Care.  This is a first for me but I'm really looking forward to it - I've been told it's an amazing experience and the location (Hampton Court and its surrounding areas) is glorious.  If the sun is shining then that will be a bonus!

I'm sure most of us will know some one who has been affected by breast cancer.  I am dedicating my walk to the memory of two wonderful women I dearly loved and lost to this horrible disease.  Glennis, my friend and mentor who helped me so much early in my career and died in 1999 and Olivia, my beloved aunt who we lost in 2006 but whose indomitable spirit remains with me always.

Thank you so much to those who have already sponsored me - I am very grateful.  If I can reach my target of £500, I'll be delighted.  During the recent spell of fine weather I have been getting in some walking practice as the big day draws nearer.
