Raising money and awareness can have a fantastic impact on people’s lives, and there is nothing more satisfying that being able to make some sort of contribution towards a local children’s charity, especially when you know someone personally that will benefit from it!

A friend, Glyn Knighton mentioned that he was doing the Derby 10K run in April. I discovered that Glyns daughter Elizabeth has Cerebral Palsy. Having last year run the Leicester marathon for the NSPCC, I decided that the charity for this year is Fair Play, who support Derbyshire children with disabilities and their families. Any contribution you make could make a real difference so thank you for your generosity!
