Myself and my work colleagues are doing a 11miles walk from Runswick Bay to Saltburn. We are doing this in the hope of raising money for The Police treatment Centre.

The police Treatment Centre are a fantastic charity who  help Almost 4000 serving and retired officers attend the Treatment Centres each year and most receive intensive physiotherapy. Others seek support with stress-related conditions and some attend for reasons of respite or to recuperate following an illness or operation.  

The charity provides two Treatment Centres where serving and retired police officers can receive recuperation and treatment following an illness or injury with the aim of assisting their return to better health.

We are aiming to raise money to give back to those in need as the police help us everyday in so many ways, constantly risking their lives and going through the unimaginable to help keep us safe.

The Police are human beings too they are not invincible an all have a breaking point. We have seen that a lot of people push the charity aside as they do not think that it would be the other way round and the police would be people who need our help.
