I am taking part in the 2010 Viking Challenge ride in aid of The British Horse Society.

You all know how horse mad I am and I want to give something back, so I am going to be riding for 5 days, approximately 30kms each day, that's about 7 hours in the saddle, through lava fields, glacial rivers and along rough mountain tracks....my poor bottom!!!

The funds I raise go towards the running costs of the welfare scheme nation-wide and enable the society to continue to provide an effective welfare system, educating keepers and owners of equines, providing rapid response to reports of equines in distress and thereafter, providing rescue and rehoming.
