I have participated in a few Race for Life's previously to celebrate my mum surviving cancer.  This time I am running with 'Team Heart' in memory of her as she lost her battle in April 2012.

My mum was diagnosed with her first cancer in 2003.  She fought and survived 3 different cancers and that was thanks to the great work of Cancer Research UK who continually try to improve treatments so that more and more people are able to be one of the survivors.
