Lisa is fundraising for WaterAid

HSBC Arctic Challenge 2018 · 3 August 2018 to 10 August 2018 ·
On the 3rd of August 2018 I will join a team of my fellow HSBC colleagues to trek 100km within the Arctic Circle in Greenland in just 5 days. With no access to typical facilities, (including social media!), we will each carry our own personal equipment and camping gear for 5 days, sleeping rough in one of the most remote parts of the world in order to rasie money for WaterAid. Currently 663 million people, (10% of the world's population), live without safe water and over 800 children die every single day from diseases caused by dirty water and poor sanitation. WaterAid aims to transform the lives of many of the poorest and most marginalised people by improving access to safe water, sanitation and hygiene facilities.
This will be no easy task - I will reach the grand old age of 50 in September 2018! Throughout that half century I have had constant access to clean water. This is just a small part of my effort to 'give back' - PLEASE dig deep and donate! It will encourage me to train hard and your donation will go to a very good cause.
To help fund raise for WaterAid I will be cycling 1000km from Bangkok to Phuket on 17 November 2017.
