St Patricks Day Drop, 100 ft Abseil · 16 March 2013 ·

Every day in the UK, another 240 people wake up to the catastrophic impact of a stroke. The Stroke Association is the only charity in the UK providing lifelong support for all stroke survivors and their families.

Story

Hi Everybody

We have decided to take the unmissable opportunity of abseiling an incredible 100ft off Twickenham stadium…The Home of English Rugby... for charity! Half of me feels like we've gone bonkers and the other half knows how wide my dad would smile if he was here to see us achieve this.

If you knew Dad then you knew his love for sport, especially English Rugby with Twickenham being one of his most favoured places in the world. I could not possibly ignore this challenge, after all a Quilly loves a challenge!

So now it's over to you, please take a few minutes and donate something to The Stroke Association - a charity very close to my heart. Donate now and your money will go towards helping recovering stroke sufferers in the future.

Thank you for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page and remember it doesn't matter how little or how much - just give something.

Thank you for your support and we will be keeping you up to date along the way!
