The belly is getting bigger... mine and Ruby's! It's time we did something about this and what better way to do it than take part in the FSI 10k Challenge to raise money for The Big Issue in the North Trust?

I've worked for this charity for nearly 10 years in one way or another and I've seen first hand how The Big Issue in the Norh helps many people gain confidence and self-esteem and how, with the right support and services, people can move on from selling the magazine and start rebuilding their lives. I've also known vendors who haven't been so lucky. Vendors who still sleep rough, vendors who can't win that horrible battle against addiction and vendors who have died because of the situation they are in.

I hope that, by helping to raise even more money for The Trust, which pays for the support that vendors recieve in our offices, we can help more vendors move on to bigger and better lives.
