<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; color: #ff0000; line-height: 115%;"><span style="font-family: Calibri;">In August 2012, myself and 20 others from Sheffield University will be attempting to climb Mount Kilimanjaro in order to raise money for the charity ‘Dig Deep’!</span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; color: #ff0000; line-height: 115%;"><span style="font-family: Calibri;">‘Dig Deep’ focuses on delivering renewable energy projects to provide water, cooking gas and electricity to deprived communities in Kenya. The money I hope to raise from the trek will go towards funding their next water project, and hopefully provide many more people with clean and sustainable water. <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span></span></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 10pt;"><span style="color: #ff0000;"><span style="font-family: Calibri;"><span style="color: #ff0000;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 115%;">At </span><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 115%; mso-ansi-language: EN;" lang="EN">19,340 feet (5,895 m)</span></span><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 115%;"><span style="color: #ff0000;">, Kilimanjaro is the highest mountain </span>in Africa, and the fourth highest of the seven summits. This trek will take us 6days, and will require intense training beforehand in order to ensure our fitness levels are up to standard! After four years of working at the outdoor store, Blacks, I think it’s finally time I put my expertise into practice!</span></span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; color: #ff0000; line-height: 115%;"><span style="font-family: Calibri;">Throughout the year, I will be carrying out various other fund raising projects. I will be taking part in various 10k runs, attempting to do the Sheffield half marathon, and hopefully doing a sky-dive!<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>If you’re lucky, I may even be auctioning off some of my extremely good-looking housemates as slaves for the day! </span></span></p>

Undeniably, this, and the trek itself will be a challenge! However, any donations (big or small) will be greatly appreciated!</span></span></p>
