Hey, so I'm doing a 50km bike ride (which is 31 miles in our language - a flipping long way! :P) 

It's for a charity very close to my heart, Kids Alive.  I have visited one of their schools and one of their homes in the Dominican Republic and I have really seen the difference they make.  Kids Alive rescue children who are orphaned, abandoned, abused and victims of war, disease or extreme poverty.  They provide Christian care for children in need, changing the world one child at a time.

Just £100 will buy 5 blackboards, 15 sets of school uniforms or dinner sets for 100 kids

and £200 will buy 5 doors or windows, provide water for the entire school and feed a class of 50 kids for 2 months
