My story

Stephen Packer who was part of our Academy Under 9 team, sadly passed away in November, following an incredibly brave battle with cancer. Stephen was very highly thought of amongst the players and staff and during his short time at the Academy, had demonstrated he possessed the skills to develop into a very talented young footballer. He was also a huge Liverpool fan, making a big impression on everyone he encountered at the Academy due to his happy nature and willingness to learn.

With support of Stephen's parents and for his memory, staff and players of Liverpool FC will do the ‘Three Peaks Challenge’ at the end of May and raise money for Alder Hey Hospital, who cared for him during his illness.
