Liverpool Santa Dash 2006 · 30 October 2006

Amnesty International UK is movement of ordinary people standing up for humanity and human rights. Some of our campaigns includes refugees, climate change, children's rights, women's rights, and conflict-affected countries. When we unite even the smallest acts of humanity make a difference.

Story

Thank you to everyone who supported our fundraiser for Amnesty International, including the many who gave 'offline' sponsorship to Dave Wilson.  Far short of our target so far but every little bit helps.  (7th December 2006)

Liverpool Biosciences Super Santa Team are a group of runners (mostly walkers) from Liverpool University's School of Biologi
al Sciences (plus friends & family) who will be taking part in the 2006 Liverpool Santa Dash on Sunday December 3rd to raise some cash for Amnesty International.

Last year 13 of us raised over £700; this year we are hoping for more runners so we have an ambitious target of £750 - please help us to reach this huge total.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor us: Amnesty International will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

Many thanks for your support.
