I am running in an event called The Run '09 Northamptonshire (10KM road race) in order to raise funds for Autism Concern a Northamptonshire based charity which provides support and options to people affected by all forms of autism in gaining independence and control of their lives.  Autism is an issue which is very close to our hearts as our son was diagnosed with Autistic Spectum Disorder (ASD) last year, so we have first hand experience of living with the impact of autism on a daily basis and the challenges it presents.  By runnning in this event,  I am hoping to raise funds for a charity which makes a real difference to the lives of autistic children and adults in Northamptonshire. You can learn more about autism and the Autism Concern by clicking here.
