In February this year my brave and wonderful husband Lee lost his life after a two year battle with cancer.  Lee spent a month in Cransley Hospice in December when he first became very poorly before coming home for Christmas and receiving care at home.  The staff at Cransley cared for Lee so so well and what makes the place so special to me is that they also supported me too.

It costs around £2000 a day for Cransley to look after one person and they are only half funded by the NHS.  If they didn't have support from fundraisers they wouldn't be able to exist. 

To raise money for Cransley I am cycling 600km across .  I have NEVER done anything like this before so it’s going to be a huge challenge for me (even Lee didn’t think I'd be able to do it so I need to prove him wrong!!!).  I need to raise £3000 to take part in the challenge but I am paying any costs myself.  Therefore EVERY penny that you sponsor me will go to Cransley Hospice.
