My story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I started volunteering for Beaumond House community hospice two years ago and love my Monday afternoons spent in the company of some lovely patients and staff.
Beaumond house is a very happy homely place and provides essential respite and end of life care for people from Newark and the surrounding area.
I am excited and a little anxious about joining "the trek of the sahara" with 47 others to raise funds for the hospice,it will be a challenge but hopefully an enjoyable one!

Beaumond House offers supportive palliative care to patients with life limiting or terminal illnesses and their families. We provide short term respite care, day care and care in the community. We also provide equipment loans; complementary therapy, welfare benefits advice and a 24/7 support line
