Story
On the August 30th 2000 a day which should have been spent celebrating my son Luke's 21st birthday we ended up in Barnet Hospital where Luke was diagnosed with Meningoccocal Septicaemia, within 3 hours he had died.
This year marks the 10 th Anniversary and I was determined to do something that Luke would have been proud of.
Much to everyones shock I entered and was accepted to run the London Marathon.
So here I am with 3 weeks to go, getting more and more nervous by the day but very determined to finish, the training hasn't gone too well, but I will run, jog and walk my way to the finish line.
The Meningitis Research Foundation funds research into new methods of prevention, detection and treatment of menigitis and seticaemia
Please help by sponsoring me it doesn't matter how much every penny counts.
Thank you
Liz
