I have recently volunteered to run the Bath Half Marathon for Cancer Research UK in support of a school friend, Jess Cator. Last August, her father was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive form of Blastoid Mantle Cell Lymphoma. As a result of her father's diagnosis, Jess's family decided to run the Bath Half tin support of Cancer Research, which as I am sure you already know, is the world's leading charity pioneering research to bring forward the day Cancer can be cured. However, what started as a family challenge has spiralled into 4 half marathon's on 4 continents, as more people decided to get involved. 

I hope that, along with the many other supporting runners, we can raise enough to make a huge impact on this great cause for Cancer Research UK, the UK Stem Cell Foundation and help Mr Cator on his road to recovery!
