I  ran the Virgin London Marathon 2010 for the Red Cross. This was my 2nd marathon for them (I raised £2500 in 2007 running the New York Marathon), and I managed it in 4hrs 48. 

I was supposed to be running with my sister Katherine as some kind of weird 70th birthday gift to Dad, but her flight got cancelled because of the volcanic ash, so I had to run solo!

It's a tough old race! And almost definitely my last marathon. Almost.
