If you had ever asked us to go running last year, you would have got a resounding No. cycling, no problem, gym yep we're there, but running ........ we thought our lungs might explode if we attempted to run more than 500 yards and would only be done on reward of wine by the glass or bottle.

Then Karen had what is now known as the genius idea, to run a half marathon! When this was suggested I told her as politely as possible to get lost, Karen knowing my competative side and preying on my weakness to always win somehow persuaded me to go against all my better judgement and register for the Eden Project half marathon!

Well, The first Run .... (actually Plod) two miles of Pure Hell.... After swearing all the way up the hill before submitting to silence as I struggled to breathe I dramatically collapsed on Karens driveway.

Since then we have trained religously, with much blood, sweat and tears, run in's with cars, cyclists, tractors and sheepdogs, as well as company from a Hobo dog who occasionally joins us while we are running on the moors, now we are only a few weeks away from the big day.

We have chosen Cornwall Air Ambulance who do an amazing Job as our chosen charity, we hope that you will support us on the day and give generously, Thank you for all your support
