<p>Earlier this year my lovely friend Sarah was diagnosed with a rare type of brain tumour and is currently undergoing treatment. From my own experiences of cancer I know how challenging it can be and how important the love and support of family and friends is to help you through.</p> <p>Research is also important and without the work done by the many charities survival rates would not improve. I know that brain tumour research is woefully underfunded, so please support me in my quest to raise much needed funds.</p> <p>On 13th May I will be cycling 40km through the lovely Bedfordshire countryside (hopefully in the sunshine!). This will also be a personal landmark as it will be 5 years since I ended my own treatment for breast cancer and I am pleased to be helping other acheive the same goal.
