London to Paris Cycle Ride · 1 June 2011

Histiocytosis UK funds research into uncovering the causes of Histiocytic diseases. These include Langerhan's Cell Histiocytosis & Haemophagocytic Lymphohistiocytosis. Seeking early diagnosis, effective treatment and a cure as well as providing information support.

<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><span style="color: #000080;"><strong>Our&nbsp;Trials for Joel</strong></span></span></p> <p><span style="color: #ff0000;">March 2011: <span style="color: #000000;">- Andy is running the Liverpool Marathon (brave man!)</span></span></p> <p><span style="color: #ff0000;">May 2011:</span>&nbsp; - Andy, Howard and many from Speedy are running the Manchester 10k (last year this hurt a lot!!)</p> <p><span style="color: #ff0000;">June 2011:</span>&nbsp; - Howard, Jason &amp; Andrew are cycling from London to Paris (550km) in 4 days (so far, I have managed&nbsp;42 miles!!)</p> <p><span style="color: #ff0000;">July 2011:</span>&nbsp; - Howard &amp; friends are tackling the 3 peaks (Scotland, England, Wales) within 24 hours (just bonkers!!)</p> <p>If this isn't enough to entice you to part with your hard earned cash, please read on below.</p> <p><span style="color: #000080;">Howard's eldest son Joel was born with an exceptionally rare disease called Langerhans Cell Histiocytosis.&nbsp; <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>There is currently no cure for LCH.</strong></span></span></p> <p><span style="color: #000080;">Our charity is the only charity in Europe funding research into LCH and it's sister disease, HLH.&nbsp; We need &pound;380k now to fund some very exciting research projects to try and help us find a cure.</span></p> <p><span style="color: #000080;">Anything you can give would be extremely gratefully received, so thank you :)</span></p> <p>Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure.
